Looking for a cozy, tasty, and affordable place for breakfast or lunch before starting your wine tasting journey? I have a perfect tip for you!!
You should eat well before going wine tasting. Most wineries don’t offer food because they don’t have a food serving license, so a quick stop at Southside Café is my recommendation. Southside Café currently has two locations and will open a third restaurant in June 2019. They serve a chef-driven menu of real California cuisine with a Latin influence along with specialty coffee. All locations are all open for breakfast, lunch, coffee, and to-go items.
Why do I recommend Southside and include it in my itineraries? Because they have an exceptional team, they are kids, they are dog friendly, and most important of all the food is phenomenal!! By the way, if you like hot chocolate like I do, Southside has a truly delicious Mexican Hot Chocolate.
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably noticed my frequent posts and stories from Southside showcasing my favorite dishes that I’m excited to share with you here on my website!!
My favorite location is in Yountville, which has a very cute and charming outdoor area where you can relax, eat, and order a glass of wine from their neighbor Stewart Cellars’ tasting room. Rosé for me, please!!
